Who We Are
Ladders connection foundation is non-governmental organization with wealth knowledge and success in the community. We have some of the most experienced peer educators, communication officer, organization audits to help in the work of the organization. ladder connection foundation develops and sustains unique multi-stakeholder initiative designed to ensure that youth and women are treated with dignity, all rights are respected, and all have the opportunity to freely pursue their full human potential. Involving diverse partners, these initiatives emphasize both grassroots action and international advocacy.
What We Do

— MINDSET CHANGE
Ladders connection foundation major core valve is to change the mindset of youths, women especially in Busoga region. To catalyze development, a shift in mindset is essential. This change involves fostering a sense of agency among individuals and communities, encouraging them to take ownership of their futures. Education plays a crucial role in this transformation. By promoting critical thinking and entrepreneurship, educational initiatives can empower the youth and women to explore innovative solutions to local challenges.

—EDUCATION
Access to education is a critical concern in Busoga. Many children, particularly those in rural areas, struggle to attend school due to geographical barriers. Schools are often located far from home, requiring students to walk long distances, which can be daunting, especially for younger children. Additionally, many schools are under-resourced, lacking basic facilities such as classrooms, clean water, and sanitation. These challenges contribute to low enrollment rates and high dropout rates, particularly among girls, who may face additional societal pressures. Empowering Busoga communities through WASH and sanitation initiatives is crucial for promoting their health, well-being, and development. By addressing the challenges related to water, sanitation, and hygiene, we can create a brighter future for the people of Busoga. Key strategies include community-led total sanitation (CLTS), water source development, hygiene education, sanitation facility construction, sustainable sanitation solutions, and partnerships and collaboration. These efforts can lead to improved health outcomes, enhanced quality of life, economic development, and environmental sustainability.

The Green Move with Bishop Paul Naimanhye initiative
We secured 100,000 trees seedlings that we planted in different schools that are Church of Uganda founded in Busoga region since we are in partnership with Busoga Diocese. Bishop Paul Naimanhye under his move dubbed the Green Move with Bishop Paul Naimanhye promoted environmental conservation through activities like tree planting, proper waste management, proper disposal and use of plastics to make new products

The Bishop has championed mindset change during his pastoral visits to different parts in Busoga region something that has motivated many parents to take their children to school and the youths to stay in school. However also spiritual intermacy is tackled through inspirational sermons that guide the community to live day to day life
